DVRÌ dictation delivers physicians the mobility to dictate during patient rounds in group practice settings and other locations.  DVRÌ software, one of Arrendale’s several dictation solutions, enables physicians to dictate at their convenience with small hand-held digital voice recorders (DVRs).  These units hold several hours of dictation and come in a variety of models.   DVR units are later docked at a PC, with DVRÌ software sending the encrypted voice files to a TAÌ server.  Physicians appreciate the freedom of movement and having several compatible DVR brands.  DVR dictation can also be useful as a backup system in hospital settings when the main digital dictation system is unavailable.
