DICTATE^̀

Dictate^̀, the dictation system of TA^̀, is a fully-featured voice capture system comprised of a Windows server, standard hardware and Intel-Dialogic® voice cards.  As a component of the TA^̀ platform, it provides state of the art technology, reliability and ease of use.  With Dictate^̀ system prompts can vary by department within a healthcare facility.  For efficiency, select prompts can be eliminated that do not apply to a particular dictator.  Costly proprietary dictation consoles are eliminated since web-based Dictate^̀ displays turnaround, prompt selections, user profiles and job volume status to authorized users from any Internet-enabled PC.

DICTATE^̀ BENEFITS FOR PHYSICIANS:

¨       Configurable dictator prompting is provided to mimic current dictation practices and ease transition

¨       Specialized dictation device voice files are stored inside central digital dictation system for access by others

¨       Ability to listen into dictation system via phone or in TA^̀ via web for review of dictation not yet transcribed 

¨       Dictator option to receive verbal confirmation (job number) after each dictation job

¨       System ability to select tones (including silence) for Begin, Rewind, Pause, End, Play and Fast Forward
