Listen^+,is a client-based application enabling a transcriptionist to listen to voice files from the TA⁺system and to transcribe the voice files into a third party system. As a component of the TA⁺ platform, it provides system integration, convenience and ease of use. Listen⁺ is most commonly used when transcribing directly into a Radiology Information System (RIS) or Pathology Information System. Dictation voice files may come from several sources including Dictate⁺, the central digital dictation system, Recorder⁺, PC-based handmike dictation, DVR⁺ for handheld voice recorders and Cphone units.

¨ Managers configure the desired turnaround time and priority for each work type in order to regulate workflow of dictated jobs to transcriptionists
