RECORDER⁺ DICTATION OPTION WITH SPEECHMIKE UNITS

The newest dictation device integration from AAI is Recorder⁺ using Philips SpeechMike™ units. These convenient, lightweight units include a speaker, microphone, integrated trackball mouse and optional laser barcode reader in one unit with a long cord and USB port. When using Recorder⁺ software and speechmike units, physicians gain efficiency, speed and accuracy since the PC immediately displays patient demographic and order data after order number input. Physicians know they are dictating for the correct patient and spend less time getting started for each report since listening and replying to dictation prompts is eliminated. Physicians dictating with a SpeechMike™ at their PC no longer require a costly dictate station. Physicians are able to utilize the Recorder application while working with other programs on their PCs. Separate bar code readers are eliminated with the multi-functional Speechmike and AAI’s integration.
