SPEECH⁺

Speech⁺ integrates the power of speech recognition technology with voice capture and workflow functionality into the TA⁺ platform to reduce ongoing transcription costs.  The design of Speech⁺ enhances physician efficiency during the dictation, review and signature of patient transcripts.  Physicians dictate according to their normal habits with Speech⁺, viewing spoken words as text immediately after dictation.  Users selectively determine whether each dictation will be completed with Speech⁺, or sent for traditional transcription creation.  Speech⁺ allows physicians to add a Normal with minimal keystrokes or handmike action, while inserting multiple lines of often-repeated text.  Viewing, editing and electronic signature may be completed during the same session as dictation to complete the process and improve turnaround time achievement.  Speech⁺ utilizes Dragon Naturally Speaking9, Medical Edition, for maximum accuracy of voice to text.  Speech⁺ Contributes to shorter turnaround times and improved reimbursement by shortening the dictation to signature process.  Installations of Speech+ require the TA⁺ Platform, a Philip handmike attached to a PC, and Dragon software.
