A+
NETWORK
. WHAT'S IN A NAME
A+
Network.
what's in a name? Arrendale Associates,
Inc (AAI) announces October 2000 that for the first time we can
provide transcription services along with our popular document management
products. We are delivering this service through our newly formed
system of services, A+Network.
Over
the years, as AAI has provided document management solutions to
hospitals, we have been repeatedly asked, "What transcription
service do you recommend?" Our clients want their outside
service reports to go into TA® Document Management just like their
in-house completed reports. Until now, we could not recommend any
service because we knew most transcription services do not integrate
readily or willingly. Although we have declined to recommend,
Arrendale has willingly worked with many transcription services
when asked to do so. In fact, we now interface with more than 30
different transcription services using TA® Send, part of our legacy
Transcript Advantage (TA®) product.
As
TAeSeries® began to take shape, we realized our Internet based
transcription software would be perfect for transcription services.
TAeSeries® works with the Internet, can easily be installed
and maintained, and can easily integrate any service-created documents
back into the rich TA® document management system as so desired by
our customers. Arrendale could either begin the awesome task of
staffing our own network of transcription services, or partner
with selected services, those providing the same high quality that
AAI values.
How
different are we? Well, for one, A+Network is "More Than Just
Talk". Our products are deliverable today, are Internet-enabled
and they work! AAI has had at-home transcription for 5 years, electronic
signature for 7 years, and document management systems for 10 years.
A+Network has made the commitment to offer these same capabilities,
much more than other transcription services can provide.
We
announced TAeSeries®, our ASP Internet Product, at AHIMA in Chicago,
Sept. 2000. TAeSeries® is revolutionary, because, while others
"talk" about their new products, we can deliver. TAeSeries®
offers more options than ever before. Now, with an integrated dictation
system (TAeDictate®), along with A+Network, hospitals can seamlessly
move overflow work off site, and receive it back into TA® without
user intervention. The flexibility of our Job Allocation Manager
middleware (TAeJAX®) allows for a transition of overflow to outsourcing.
You can outsource an individual department, like ED, HIM or DI,
while still transcribing other departments in-house.
TAeSeries®
meets stringent HIPAA auditing and encryption requirements and readily
lends itself to the Application Service Provider (ASP) model. We
believe, as do industry analysts, that within a few short years
the ASP model will be the standard. Software and hardware will
be housed off site at the vendors lock down facility. No more
high cost of maintenance, support or facilities management. In
this true thin client environment, the only software needed is
at the desktop and the only network connection needed is the Internet.
If
you are in the market for a new transcription service, we can provide
seamless integration so all of your outsourced work flows directly
into TA®. The best news is, we will do everything. And, we will
guarantee quality and turnaround.
