eSIGN+

TA Plus+

eSign+ is a browser-based physician electronic authentication system, designed for physician efficiency with easy-to-use color screens and options for mouse or keyboard control. eSign+ includes multi-line physician editing from the browser using AAI’s RTF word processor, eliminating the need to install and maintain MS Word. Physicians can access, edit and sign from any PC with an Internet (Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher) or network connection. Using the TA+ system and an integrated voice file, physicians may retrieve and listen to the original dictation voice file. eSign+ has been designed for superior speed in both the editing and signing modes to accommodate the priorities of physicians. Since no software is loaded on a physician desktop, deployment is simple and the expense of MS Word is avoided. eSign+ meets all regulatory requirements for JCAHO, CMS (HCFA), and HIPAA. eSign+, part of the TA+ platform, is especially popular with radiology and emergency department customers.

• Allow (Or Disallow) Preliminary Documents To Print Prior To Signature, Configured By Report Type
• Supervisor Management Reports Include Status Of Unsigned Documents By Physician
• While Electronically Signing, Patient Documents May Be Optionally Viewed, Printed Or Faxed
• All Addenda Are Automatically Linked To Original Document And Labeled “Addendum Exist” At Top Of Original

HIPAA AND SECURITY FEATURES:
• An Additional PIN Is Required To Access Documents Prior To Signature
• Electronic Signature Option Is Only Presented To TA+ Users With User Profile Permission To Sign
• Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption Of All Internet Transmissions
• eSign+ Stores All Transcribed Versions Including Original, Edits By QA Staff And Edits By Physicians
• ‘View Versions’ Button Displays Prior Versions With Drill Down Of Details

• eSign+ Statement May Be Customized To Include Other Variables Such As The Signing Physician’s Name When The Signing Physician Is Not The Dictating Physician
