Transcribe⁺ includes a word processor, abbreviation expander, line counting software, traditional spellchecker and medical pharmaceutical spellcheckers.  The word processor, line counting software and abbreviation expander are proprietary.  AAI has a global license for the standard dictionary (Wintertree) and the medical and pharmaceutical spellcheckers (Spellex).  The medical and pharmaceutical dictionaries are updated quarterly.  Neither Transcribe⁺ nor TA⁺ requires MS Word or WordPerfect.  Specialized third party transcription products are no longer needed.
