Customer Support

Support Center Teams

Arrendale Support Center teams include staff for training, implementation and networking/interfaces.  Each team is acutely aware of the mission-critical nature of dictation, transcription and document management within healthcare.  Many Arrendale team members have prior experience as hospital employees and know firsthand the urgency of customer support.  Great efforts are made by all Arrendale support staff to minimize disruption within the facility and restore normal operations as quickly as possible during support inquiries and upgrades.

Training

Arrendale training staff team members provide unlimited remote training, on-site training for new installations and on-site refresher training.  The TA+ training program for transcriptionists, editors and correctionists includes on-site, hands-on classroom instruction during new system go-lives.  Our managerial instruction includes an overview of TA+ applications with emphasis on security, user profile maintenance and the reporting functionality for system administrators, transcription coordinators, departmental directors and security officers. AAI's video training library consists of a dozen short videos that explain TA+ functionality for specific users.  We recommend our 2-day on-site training program for hospitals with new departmental management.  The TA+ training program has been approved by the American Health Information Management Association for 8 Continuing Education hours for participants.  It satisfies the requirements of the AHIMA Technology core educational content area.

Implementation

Arrendale recognizes that implementation planning is vital for all successful TA+  applications.  Since TA+  product solutions are often hospital-wide solutions, encompassing different workflow for various departments, we understand that attention to minute detail is essential.  Likewise, MTSO's have unique needs for each of their physician practice and hospital customers.  Arrendale systems, GANTT charts and Implementation Project Plans are utilized to assure that each step is  identified, assigned, understood and successfully completed during the implementation process.  An Arrendale implementation manager will handle activities including conference call coordination, interface testing and Go-Live date determination.  From contract signing to follow-up support after trainers have departed, the AAI implementation manager takes the lead achieving a smooth start up, meeting customer schedules and minimizing customer tasks.

Network/Interfacing

The Arrendale networking/interface team handles support for TA+  Internet applications and Transcribe+ client workstations, whether located within a healthcare facility or at-home for transcriptionists, editors and correctionists.  Responsibilities include VPN, firewall installation, as well as interface creation and testing. We are experienced with all major HIS, RIS, EMR and PACS system interfaces and will customize interfaces as needed.  Additionally, networking/interface team members load and support servers for dictation, speech recognition and transcription/document management, housed in our ASP center or within a hospital or MTSO.  Team members are trained in Oracle, networking, HL7, operating systems and backup protocols.
